Amidst the untouched beauty of Tiree’s eastern coast, Scarinish Beach House is a family-owned home, set right on the bay overlooking the sea, perfect for your group getaway. 

The cosy twelve bedroom retreat comfortably sleeps up to 24 guests in queen and single beds with six en suites, three private bathrooms and four additional WCs. The spacious ground floor reception room boasts stunning views of the harbour with open plan kitchen, a snug idea for reading by the fire and another fireside lounge area with smart TV and projector. To the back is an indoor sauna, fully fitted bar area with seating, games, pool table and dart board. Upstairs adds an additional TV room and a outdoor balcony area ideal for enjoying a glass of wine outside as you take in the sunset over the beach.

Outside the private property you have direct views to the sea, a large back porch area with covered outdoor seating ideal for eating al fresco or BBQing in the warmer months. The back garden fire-pit means you can also enjoy the fresh sea air at night, chatting around the flames with a Highland and Island malts! until the early hours.

Beyond the house itself, Tiree and the surrounding islands offer a range of activities, and we are happy to provide a chauffeur to host your group, and recommend or arrange a number of sports, leisure, nature, relaxation or cultural add ons.

Scarinish Beach House provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning costal surrounds, whether it’s a long dog-walk on the beach, island hopping along the Hebrides, discovering local wildlife at the nature reserves, bike rides along the coast, surfing, cold water swimming, scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing, bird watching, whale watching or exploring finagle’s cave, there’s no shortage of outdoor activities for your group. 

If indoor pastimes are more your thing you can stroll around the islands to discover the specialist produce shops and cosy local cafes. Try a regional Scotch at one of the many whisky tours along the Hebridean islands, or spend an evening in an island pub to hear a local trad band play! The views from the lounge are perfect for painting if watercolour is your passion, and there is plenty of space inside for group yoga or pilates. If all this sounds too tiring, why not simply relax back at the house; enjoy a group cooked meal or a wee dram by the fire with your family or friends.

The house offers a ground floor kitchen if your group would rather cook for yourselves than visit the local island restaurants, and a larger commercial kitchen is available on-site if you are bringing your own chefs or catering team. Our own chef can be arranged for your trip if required, and their menu will showcase the best Scottish produce: local lamb, Argyll beef, game and fresh seafood.
